On the 21st December 2022, Bart De Moor has been elected president of bMediation.

bMediation was created by the Brussels Chamber of Commerce (NL and FR) and the French- and Dutch-speaking sections of the Brussels Bar Association to promote mediation as an alternative and sustainable way of dispute resolution. 

bMediation organises the professional education of mediators in view of their accreditation. Furthermore, the association also operates as a mediation center organising mediation procedures between business parties having a dispute and is actively involved in mediation in the framework of the restructuring of companies in distress.
