Michaël Meylan est diplômé en droit de l'Université Jean Moulin Lyon III (1998). Il est titulaire d'un LL.M en droit européen des affaires de l'Université Radboud de Nijmegen (1999) et d'un postgraduate law degree in EU law de l'Université Jean Moulin Lyon III (2000).
