Marnix De Greve focuses on all aspects of individual and collective labour law and advises clients from a wide range of industries. His expertise covers various aspects of Belgian labour law and social security law including individual and collective dismissal law, working time practices, and cooperations with self-employed individuals. Marnix is also experienced in defending clients in litigation concerning employment and social security law.
Over the years, Marnix has been active in advising clients on the labour and employment law aspects in M&A transactions. Marnix has written several articles on different labour and employment law topics, which were published in law journals. These topics include the position of employees in a bankruptcy, the dismissal of protected employees, general HR issues, etc.
Marnix has been a speaker at conferences and seminars on those topics as well and is also a member of the national association for labour and employment law in Belgium.
Education
Marnix obtained a master’s degree in law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2017.
