Our new Employment & Benefits Partner Stefanie Tack will be speaking at a conference organised by the VOB/FEB on the obligations for companies resulting from the new whistleblower legislation. Her intervention will be about “setting up and managing internal reporting channels”.

The EU Whistleblower Directive has been described by some as the new GDPR. Paradigm shift or not, companies with more than 50 employees and all companies in the financial sector will soon have to comply with the directive, as well as the national legislation transposing the directive.

To this end, these companies will have to set up an internal reporting channel and procedures for following up on reports, after consultation with employees.

Experts and pioneer companies will provide answers to many practical questions. Participants will also be able to meet various suppliers who offer tools and services to facilitate the monitoring of reports.
