Just published on Practical Law Arbitration: “Belgian Court of Cassation prohibits arbitrators from interfering with post-award proceedings”   

Joanna Kolber and Cyro Vangoidsenhoven commented for Practical Law Arbitration on the Court of Cassation’s judgment of 10 February 2023. The Court ruled that arbitrators cannot form any recourse against state court judgments annulling arbitral awards rendered by themselves, in light of the judicial nature of the mission as arbitrator.
