Last Thursday, Strelia co-organised a webinar with the Practice Group EDR of the IBJ-IJE (Instituut voor bedrijfsjuristen - Institut des juristes d'entreprise), about recent developments and trends in arbitration.

Joanna Kolber, partner in our Dispute Resolution practice, had the opportunity to present why and when arbitration proceedings can be useful for companies.

Her presentation covered i.a. the recent Belgian reform of tort law and its impact on arbitration, recent case-law on arbitrator liability, developments as regards emergency arbitrations and third party funding, as well as the impact of ESG regulations on arbitration.
